Family- and Locally-Owned Stack & Store Cuts Ribbon on New 100,000-square-foot State-of-the-Art Self-Storage Facility

Harford County Chamber of Commerce joins Stack & Store Self Storage to host a grand opening ceremony in Bel Air for the company’s eighth facility in Harford County.

BEL AIR, Md. — Family- and locally-owned Stack & Store Self Storage, with its long history of operating secure storage units in Harford County, celebrated the opening of its newest 100,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility today in Bel Air, Maryland with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in coordination with the Harford County Chamber of Commerce. Stack & Store honored their commitment to giving back to the community with a ceremonial check presentation to the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health Center with a $250,000 donation to support the emergency department.

The grand opening ribbon-cutting celebrated the company’s eighth location, expanding its presence in Bel Air with a newly built 100,000-square-foot facility conveniently located off Route 1 at 726 Belair Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014.

With 697 total units, Stack & Store’s new facility offers state-of-the-art operations, including climate-controlled units, site fencing, around-the-clock recorded surveillance, an on-site resident manager, 18 different-sized units for all needs and 24/7 support when necessary. In addition, customers can access the site through electronic keypad entry through a personalized code or mobile app. Individually alarmed units are also available.

Louis and Phyllis Friedman founded Stack & Store in 1983 to provide convenient, secure and budget-friendly space to store belongings and commercial goods. Since the opening of their first facility, Stack & Store has expanded to eight locations, including Bel Air’s latest addition.
